Criminal Defence
The Investigators Group Inc. has provided Criminal Defence support investigations to some of Canada's finest Criminal Defence lawyers. In addition, we are the investigative company used by The Association in Defence of the Wrongfully Convicted, having had considerable success with that group.
Our investigators are professionally trained in the techniques of interviewing and interrogation. We are able to gain insightful information from witnesses, take statements, conduct interviews and prepare briefs for counsel. Statement analysis is also available.
As in our litigation-based services, we have developed a model that often provides insight to counsel in complicated cases where volumes of documentary and testimonial evidence are at hand. Our model will show corroborative and conflicting evidence patterns and provide a basis for building the investigative case for the Defence.
